Since March 13, 2020, America's professional truck drivers have heroically continued to transport essential goods and services amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Many have used the flexibilities provided by the FMCSA Emergency Declaration 2020-002, namely Hours of Service (HOS) and logging flexibilities. For over 2 years, drivers and carriers have been part of the biggest case study that our industry has ever seen! The trucking industry has generated all of the data we need to prove that HOS is NOT the safety mechanism long believed by regulators and lawmakers.
The time is NOW to gather, compile, analyze, and present the data to show that drivers operating without HOS and logs have been more rested, less stressed, and there has been a positive impact on highway safety.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
In order for the trucking industry to take the proper steps to have a larger impact on more HOS flexibility we MUST have data. Please use any of the 'REPORT NOW!' buttons found on this page to report your usage of the FMCSA Emergency Declaration since March 13, 2020.
Please make one report for EACH MONTH that you have used the Emergency Declaration.
